    1. Actually, it’s my husband who has the kidney stones. He’s a bit better today, but we have to wait at least a week before we’re sure he’s gotten rid of them all, so it’s not over yet. Appreciate the well wishes.

  2. Linda, my best wishes to your husband for a speedy recovery. Now, the haiku! The first has merit. The second just blows me away! It’s your best ever, IMHO. It reminds me of Issa’s humor in the face of pain, and compares favorably with many of his haiku written at his artistic peak. Well done!!
