  1. Nice! You may need to help me at one point, though. L1 and L3 both refer to spring (either as an image or by direct reference). But L2 is an autumn image. Ordinarily, the haiku indicates a single season of the year. I don’t understand the leaf falling gently in spring. I may be missing something. Can you help me?

    1. The change Linda made reflects her correct understanding that a haiku concerns itself with a single moment in time, often referred to as “the AHA moment.” A haiku covering a whole year is a misunderstanding of the nature of haiku. Linda did well.
